Hello,
I code for a surgical oncologist and a plastics surgeon who perform a lot of cases to together. I would like to get some insight on if the oncologist performs the composite resection of the thigh (27059) and then he turns it over to plastics for the closure (13121), should this be a co-surgery where both providers get the 27059-62? They are of the same group. I also had another scenario to bill these but I am stumped. Any suggestions is appreciated
