My surgeon wants to use code 40816 (excision of lip tumor) with code 13152 . I am not sure if he need to use 13152 with 40816. I thought 40816 is already complex repair with excision? Please help.

As per CPT (40814 include complex repair) complex repair not included in 40816. It states complex excision as per my knowledge, so we need to code 13152 as per documentation.
