Good morning. Can someone please advise on which could to use for the following procedure? I want to use 11043 but the physician has listed 15004.
After signed consent, the patient was brought in the operating room, placed supine on the operating table, underwent sedation with fentanyl and Versed. She was prepped and draped in usual sterile fashion. Underwent excisional debridement with a #15 blade knife, essentially entire surface was excised. This was down to the deep tissue muscle layer or fascia tissue due to the underlying deep nature of the wound to begin with. The patient thereafter underwent Pulse-A-Vac irrigation with 1 liter containing 150,000 units of bacitracin followed by wet to dry dressing with saline gauze and ACE wrap.
