Wiki ERCP with EUS

I have a question about billing an ERCP with an EUS. The physician did both procedures on the same day and did full documentation for each procedure. There are no CCI edits for these coding combinations, however the insurance did deny the EUS charge stating is was part of the ERCP. Has anyone experienced this scenario and have you had any luck getting the claims paid? Please let me know if we have grounds to appeal the claim. Thanks so much for your help.
