Hello All...patient presented to e/r and dr on n call consulted our doc...he was then admitted and a transurethral resection of bladder tumor with clot irrigation and removal was performed...any help on coding would be appreciated! Our coder submitted 52001, 52234, 99233 all on same date...is this correct?

You can code all three but you may want to use a modifier -57 on the 99233 and a Modifier -51 on the 52234
