Thoughts anyone? Is there enough documentation in this note to bill 72275 - Epidurography?

X-RAY REPORT FOR EPIDURAL STEROID INJECTION - 10/22/2010

Lateral x-rays revealed a well placed needle within the sacral hiatus. An epidurogram was then visualized after an injection of Omnipaque. The flow of the dye was consistent with an epidural placement of the needle.

I would say no..but that is just me... This code should only be used when the images are documented and a formal report is issued. Report 72275 only when a formally interpreted contrast study involving multiplanar imaging generating "hard copy" images is performed.... love to see what others say
