Would this documentation support a layered closure or not? There was noted to be a small arterial bleed within the subcutaneous fat at the depth of the wound. This was controlled using a single 3-0 Vicryl figure-of-eight suture. The wound was then closed in layers of 3-0 Vicryl deep dermal sutures and 3-0 nylon horizontal mattress sutures.
