Does anyone know of a source other than CSI's coding book that can help answer this question? Is the 93624 for studies done during the same session
as an ablation or a follow up at a later date? Some of our patients have the
ablation done at the beginning, then a complete EP 93620 is done. We bill the 93651, 93620 etc. No one has questioned our billing, although we cannot find anything telling us when the follow up study applies.
Any clarification would be appreciated.
