Wiki Encephalopathy after morphine drip

Hi - I was asked this question by one of our case managers looking at our RAMI scores. Can you code encephalopathy after the patient has been given a morphine drip, or is it not codeable as it would be an expected condition with this treatment?

That's the way I am leaning, too, but I wanted to gather others' opinions as the physicians are inquiring - if they document it, can we still code it?
