Hello,
When using CPT codes 99211 and 99213, can these two codes be billed together for an office visit? And if so does it require a modifier?
Any one with guidance is apprecaited.

Thank you,
FH Moore

Because I appreciate that these forums are a reference for others than the original poster to learn from, I am updating with some additional discussion here that the OP and I had.
It seems the situation would be that the patient was seen earlier in the day by RN for an injection, then returned later in the day for an unrelated issue to see the physician. My response:
The nurse's visit for an injection would be billed as only the injection (ie 96372). 99211 is not justified for a patient seeing a nurse for an injection.
If the patient came in at 10a for IM injection by RN, then returned at 2p to see MD because they fell and hurt their wrist, I would bill:
9921X -25 with dx for wrist injury
96372 with dx for reason for injection
JXXXX with dx for reason for injection
