Does anyone know of an alternative, temporary way to send electronic claims without going through a clearing house?
I have the same issue with Availity and can pull out the file type but something always rejects so we are entering in manually but cannot keep up. It is such a mess!!We tried to configure our system so Availity would accept a batch file and it kept rejecting. We spoke with our Medisoft support to ask if they could configure our system so we could submit a file for the payers they accepted, but decided to use the money that would cost to sign up for a new clearinghouse. While waiting for them to give us a go date for the new clearinghouse we are manually hand jamming claims into Availity which offer several payers, Palmetto GBA, GA Medicaid, Tricare East, Peach State, United Healthcare. It is time consuming and our bodies hurt but we are working overtime to get the providers we work for claims in so they don’t have to close the doors.
I suppose you are trying to avoid future episodes like Change Healthcare. We are using eMEDIX for our billing services; there was a little hiccup for couple of weeks, but it is fully functional as it was before.Does anyone know of an alternative, temporary way to send electronic claims without going through a clearing house?
I use admcsi.com for any help on Medisoft, & EDI services for almost a decade without any issues, you may try.We tried to configure our system so Availity would accept a batch file and it kept rejecting.
