Patient had elbow arthroplasty and returned to surgery (2nd time) to clear up infection. Surgeon notes he did "revision total arthroplasty, humeral and ulnar component bushings".
CPT 24371 is "revision of total elbow arthroplasty ... humeral and ulnar component".
I'm curious because the bushings were disengaged and removed, as well as the pin separating the components. After irrigation with antibiotic solution, he notes the components were well fixed and new bushings were placed back on the humeral and ulnar components.

He didn't remove the components and there isn't a CPT that focuses on the just removal/re-insertion of new bushings.
Wondering if any other Coders have come across this and if Modifier 52 would be appropriate here.

Thanks -
