Hi - Looking for some guidance on EEG billing to Medicare.
Per Medicare the days/units are counted as the start date and end date.
E.g.: DOS = 10/31/2024 - 11/01/2024 with codes 95712, 95715, 95718 & 95720. Claim was submitted with 2 units based on the date range billed. Claim denied as "Date range not valid with units submitted". Medicare was called and they're still stating it's incorrect.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
