I am getting an edit for CPT code 20605. The pt has osteoarthritis of the wrist. Edit says Medicaid only pays for acute conditions. Any ideas on how to clear this? Thanks.

you should maybe use a G89 code first for the pain but the provider needs to document acute or chronic pain
