I know that for a Medicare patient that comes for a H&P prior to a colonoscopy for screening reasons, that visit cannot be charged.
My question is, what if the Medicare patient has a family history of colon cancer, can that H&P that is done 1 week prior to the colonoscopy be charged to Medicare?
