If a patient undergoes a full skin exam due to history of skin cancer, how many points would you attribute to the skin cancer history in the MDM section of the 1997 E/M?
For example, in the problems point section, it would seem to fall most accurately in the same category with "stable chronic illness," and in the risk level section as "low," but I am really just guessing and wonder if anyone has any definitive knowledge about this???
