I asked this on the dermatology forum as well. I have no experience of what constitutes a specialty dermatological exam.
Basically, patient comes in for follow-up screening 2 years post-treatment for melanoma.
He has a "lesion" on the nose.
Doctor documents " full head to toe dermatological exam reveals lesion on nose".
He also documented vitals. Nothing else. Would this verbage constitute a comprehensive single-specialty exam?
I didn't think so as it provides no detail so I gave an EPF level.
Any thoughts?
