If a patient was seen by a provider and during the visit patient states that she would like to be tested for HIV because she might have been exposed and the provider orders a blood test. The provider has the patient come back to discuss the lab work and the results were negative, how would the provider code this visit? Nothing else was discussed. Thanks for your help.

This could possibly be billed based on time? Depending on what the results were it might be a low level visit.
