Wiki E&M during PO Global

[Hopp]

Just wanted to get some opinons on the following:
Pt came into the office during a PO global from a Colostomy
sx for Diverticulitis. Office visit was to discuss and sched.
Colostomy Reversal soooo wondering if it is appropriate to
bill E&M with 24 modifier or not? (Dxiverticulitis -same dx) TIA
Deb, CPC ANYONE?

It's clearly related to the surgery so my vote is No E/M for this visit during the PO global period.
