Wiki E&M Discharge and re-admit codes

NP discharge pt from hospital in morning. later that night the MD on call re-admitted pt. since 99238 and 99223 can't be billed on the same date of service, nor can I bill a discharge and a sub visit on same DOS. Can someone give me a recommendation on how they would code this?
