I need some clarification on data scoring for labs ordered. Would each lab ordered be considered one point even if for the same dx? Or are all labs together only one point per dx? Sometimes there are 3 or 4 labs listed under one dx and giving that more than one point seems excessive to me. Thanks for your help!

It doesn't really matter if they ordered 1 lab test, or 4 lab tests, just count it as ordering labs.

Also applies to tests in medical section of CPT - EKG, Oxygen, etc. One data point, no matter how many tests
