This situation is coming up more and more and I want to make sure there isn't a specific diagnosis code out there that I should be using. Patients are encouraged to get the TDAP immunization if they are going to be around a newborn baby. I've been using the dx code of V06.1 and unfortunately most insurances won't pay for this dx code. Does anyone know if there another dx code I should be using?
