Wiki DSHS WAIVER

I work for a physical therapist office. We aren’t contracted with our state Medicaid but we have patients who want therapy. Does anyone have a waiver I could look at that states the patient is responsible. If they have a primary and DSHS is secondary I also need a waiver stating they are responsible after the primary processes. Thanks

If the patient has Medicare and Medicaid, you cannot bill the patient or accept money from the patient, EVEN IF MEDICARE PAYS ZERO (such as when the deductible is applied), and since you are not contracted with Medicaid, they pay nothing. Click here for more info.

Thanks for the information. I already knew about the Medicare/Medicaid QMB. I was speaking of Medicaid only patients. In the past, we couldn't balance bill Medicaid patients without the state reviewing the reason. We are non contracted with the state, therefore we can bill as I now see
