I have a Medicare patient who had a radiology exam on 11/5/20 and passed away later in the day.
The radiologist read the exam on 11/6/20. I know that the DOS should be 11/6/20 for the professional component, but we are getting a system edit since the patient expired the day before.

What is the appropriate manner to handle these types of situations?
