Wiki DOI with 700 dx codes

I have a patient with a sports injury that occured last week. Pt has back pain radiating into arm.

The physician is using a 700 back pain code, so no DOI needs to be attached? H&P specificaly states injury occured last week from basketball.

if this is the way it is documented the use the 700 code plus a 905/6 code for late effect of injury then you will need a DOI
