Wiki Do PEGs in ASC?

My doctors want to start doing PEG procedures (43246) in their GI ASC. Previously, they've always done them at the hospital. Does anyone have experience with billing this? Do you have any trouble with reimbursement for the professional and/or facility charges from any carriers in particular? We are located in Southern Calif. Thanks!

If they can, do them in the office. But here in NC, the group I work for has 5 endo suites. We hardly ever do them in the endo centers. They also usually do them in the hospital.

From a reimbursment perspective, I would say, office, hospital then ASC.
