Has anyone billed CGS Jurisdiction C for E0745(Neuromuscular stim for shock) for the lumbar region? We are receiving denials for medical necessity with M62.58. If you are getting payment, how are you currently billing this code? Any help would be most appreciated.

I haven't looked into this specifically yet, but the first thing that popped out to me was that your using a DX code that's a NEC code. So they have no idea why the pt needs the device when your DX isn't specific. I don't think it's the E0745 necessarily, but on face value, that DX would certainly not hold up in proving anything. Is there another possible DX that you can use?
