Does any one know where I can find information about which DME codes have to be link with the base code to insure payment? I have had a few denials for certain line items when billing for a prosthstic and there are about 11 line items, and medicare breaks the claim up into 2 claims. Some of the lines need to be on the same claim as the base code, but I can not find a site telling me which codes require this link. I Need to redesign our practitioners ordering sheet so the codes that have to be linked to the base code are just below it, but I can not find a site telling me which codes are required to be listed with the base codes. please help.
