With the new ICD10 diagnosis codes, there are now codes specific to the site of the intestines for benign neoplasm. I have noticed many pathology reports that list the specimen as "Colon Polyp at #cm." I have seen numbers such as 30cm, 50cm, 55cm, 70cm, etc. Is there reference material that compares the distance of the intestine in centimeters to the name of the site, e.g., cecum, ascending, sigmoid, etc. that you can share with me?
