Is a displaced clavicle fracture the same as a non union or incomplete?

This is a follow up visit and the fracture is a little bit more displaced than the last visit.

Would I use 733.82 or 73381?

Thank you,
LLR

Displaced doesn't mean non or malunion.

"Displaced and non-displaced fractures refer to the way the bone breaks. In a displaced fracture, the bone snaps into two or more parts and moves so that the two ends are not lined up straight. If the bone is in many pieces, it is called a comminuted fracture" (from WebMD definition)

I would need to read the provider note to be sure but if the patient had a displaced fx then there had to have been some type of treatment performed. If this is a follow up visit and the fx has not responded to the original treatment then it could be a non union or it could be a mal union, or it could be delYed healing, but it depends on how it is documented.
