Wiki Discharge code or subsequent code?

If a pt is in patient and is being transferred to another facility would there be a subsequent charge or a discharge charge for the date of transfer?

Transfer from on facility to another

A discharge code would be used from the previous facility then an admit code would be used for the facility being transferred to.
