Dupuytrens release with DIPJ fixation, not for fracture

Is there a separate billable procedure for DIPJ fixation following, but at the same surgical setting, for dupuytrens contracture release. I'm having difficult determining if this is separately billable.

from OP report: "This patient had a rather severe pseudo-Boutonniere type deformity of the right small finger. (due to Dupuytrens disease). The DIPJ was now flexed to roughly 20 degrees and a 0.045 inch non-threaded K-wire wa advanced rerograde through the distal phalanx and across the dipj, exiting the dorsal cortex of the distal aspect middle phalanx".

The above was performed after CPT 26123 was performed, subtotal fasciectomy for Dupuytrens.

Another coder thinks that 26426 should be charged in place of 26123. I disagree.

Thanks for any help.:)
