I work for a Pain group and when we see a new patient we are giving them a drug screen to look for any illegal drugs and also prescribed drug. Does anyone know the correct diagnosis I would use?

Yes, we can code !!!
Medicolegal is something that involves both medical and legal aspects. So V70.4 is not limited to Blood-alcohol tests, Blood-drug tests, Paternity testing, even for BAT (Breath Alcohol Test), UDS (Urine Drug Screening), HDS (Hair Drug Screening) we can use it.
Just don't confuse it with V70.3 & V70.5. i.e., if BAT or UDS or HDS is ordered for athletes then the correct code is V70.3.
And if BAT or UDS or HDS is ordered for employment/ Occupational health screening then V70.5 is the appropriate one!!!
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
