If a patient is seen for well woman exam with normal findings and is also given a 1-year prescription for her birth control pills, should I code Z01.419 and Z30.41? Or is it enough to code only Z01.419? The birth control surveillance isn't listed by the provider as a diagnosis, but there was a prescription ordered in the system.
