I'm trying to locate documentation for Virginia that would confirm if the Dentist is required to sign or cosign a Hygienist's note for indirect supervision. I have reviewed the VA site- Code of Virginia Code - Article 3. Licensure of Dental Hygienists but it does not list specifically if the Dentist's signature is needed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
