I have had claims come back when my doctors have done a Stress Echo and a Resting Echo on the same date. They have denied them as bundling can you not bill 93351 and 93306 on the same date? If not, can you explain why because I have a doctor who wants to know why he cant bill this way?

93351 does have a CCI edit with 93306 by passable with a modifier. have you tried adding a mod?

If you look at the description of 93350/93351 it says, "Echocardiography, transthoracic, real-time with image documentation (2D), includes M-mode recording, when performed, during rest AND cardiovascular stress test..."

The stress echo codes includes an echo being done at rest as well as the echo that is being done during stress.
