I have a question. My provider sees a patient in the office as a consult for CABG on 7/15. Decision for surgery was established at that time; however, the surgery wasn't until 7/23.
Can my provider still get credit for inpatient admit/h&p, making the same decision for surgery - day of? I thought they couldn't due to the global surgical package. I told them no, but I want to make sure.
Initial office Consult on 7/15, DFS
Surgery day 7/23 - Admit & H&P dictated
Can they get credit for the day of, or even the day before if the initial was on 7/15.
**(example scenario) want to establish dates for consults and the GSP.
