I need help please....
My surgeon did a 'decompression fasciotomy of the anterior/lateral and posterior compartments' last week which i coded w/cpt 27602.
The patient then had to have another surgery for 'ischemia of the lower extremity w/possible necrotic leg muscles'.
The surgeon not only debrided the muscles, but had to dissect and remove two entire muscles.
The only code that i can find that comes close is cpt 11043. I am hoping that there is a code that better discribes what was done.
