Procedure Performed: Debridement of 12cm2 of bone. Placement of 250gm of powdered matristem and a 7x10cm of matristem burn matrix

Procedure Findings: 7x7.5cm wound with 3x4cm area of exposed periosteum
Condition of Patient:
The patient was transferred in stable condition.
Summary:
The patient was transferred to the OR and placed into a supine position. General LMA anesthesia was induced. The wound vac was removed. The patient was prepped and draped. A formal timeout procedure was then performed. Once all members of the operative team were in agreement the procedure commenced. An oval burr was then used to debride the outer table of the exposed periosteum until healthy bleeding bone was encountered. The powdered matristem was applied to the done. A 7x10cm sheet of matristem was then hydrated and applied to the wound. Surgical lubricant was applied to the wound followed by adaptic. Surgical lubricant was applied again. ABD pad was applied followed by tegaderm.
Patient was allowed to awaken from anesthesia and the LMA device was removed. He was then transferred to the PACU in stable condition. The patient tolerated the procedure well, no complications. Count were corre
