Wiki Dead Tissue Debrided

Hello,

I have a new patient who got her foot pulled into a conveyer belt and caused significant abrasion.

Diagnosis: Deep abrasion/laceration over the anterior ankle.

There was some dead tissue that was debrided here in the office.

Not sure if I should use this code 11042 - Debridement of subcutaneous tissue. Would I also use a modifier 25 on the E/M code

If the size of the area is correct and the depth of the debridement is correct, that's what I would use
