I have a silly question?
We have a patient with Aetna. The child is 4 years old. He had is 4 year physical in December. Commercial insurances usually only cover one physical per year, but we have this same patient that needs a Daycare Physical. Is there a modifier that I can use when billing this physical or should we charge our self-pay fee for physical exams?
FYI- I called and spoke to someone from AETNA, and it was stated that the there is 0 copay and 0 deductible for this DAYCARE service. It just didn't seem right, and that is why I came to this forum![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
