Why does complication of Cystostomy have a code for device/tube complication T83... and one for the stoma N99.518 but Colostomy only has one for the stoma/system disease K94.03 and not the device/tube? And when do you use the T code and not the disease code?

Cystostomies utilize a catheter, colostomies have a pouch that directly attach to the stoma.
