Is curettage of pin tract infection after removal of external fixator from =
tibia and fibula billable? If so what code????
The external fixator was disassembled. The 10 pins were then removed compl=
etely without difficulty. The leg was then reprepped and redraped. The pi=
n tracs were then curreted with straight curette and the pin tracts were th=
en irrigated with normal saline.
