Wiki Cubital tunnel release / anconeus epitrochlearis ?? Is this included with CPT code

Need to clarify if when the patient is found to have anconeus epitrochlearis and the physician excises this, is this part of the cubital tunnel release or is there another CPT code that needs to be billed with the 64718?

Does anyone have experience with this? I am between billing 64718 with or without modifier -22 for the excision of the anconeus epitrochlearis muscle.

Thoughts?

Since 64718 generally includes other codes such as 24357, 24310, 25290, & 24359 (according to AAOS GSD) I probably would not append a 22 or add any additional codes if 64718 is what was done. Unless there was clear and specific documentation to support the 22.
