Hello, I need help coding a CT angiography pulmonary artery. I know the code is between 75741-75746. I just need help finding the right code. For the technique it said" CT pulmonary angiography was performed on a Toshiba Equilibrium multi sector scanner. Volumetric axial images were obtained through the chest during the uncomplicated administration of 50 ml Omnipacque 350 intravenous contrast. Images were reconstructed with 3 and 1 mm thickness. Sagittal and coronal deformations were provided. For findings it said technically satisfactory study with good opacification of the pulmonary arteries. Everything else was normal except the lungs which had moderate to severe bullous emphysematous changes with bibasilar peripheral honeycombing. So would the test be 75743 and the diagnosis codes J43.9, and R93.1? And do I need any other codes? Thank you for your help!

Look at 71275. For the diagnosis code what was the Indication or Reason for Exam? If they were looking for a PE and there wasn't one in the findings you'd want to code any signs or symptoms of a PE (usually chest pain, SOB for example) as the primary dx and any incidental findings as secondary dx codes.
