Hello, my doctor performed cryotherapy to a cyclodialysis cleft causing hypotony of the eye. I am leaning towards an unlisted code for this. Anyone come across a procedure like this?
"Using the cryotherapy probe to apply mild pressure on the superonasal areas of cyclodialysis just posterior to the limbus, scleral-choroidal apposition was achieved and 3 rounds of freeze/thaw treatment were applied on both areas of cyclodialysis. Frost was noted on the underlying iris prior to thawing each round. At the end of each freeze cycle the underlying parotid tissue was frozen to the overlying sclera for a few seconds before thawing back into previous position."
