Hello,
First:
I have a question about billing a discharge summary with a critical care on the same day if patient is transferred or if they expire.
I read somewhere this could be done by appending modifier 25 to the discharge code. I can't remember where I saw it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Second:
Does anyone understand the new audit sheet with the code changes for this year?
I have an idea but I feel like I'm down coding a lot.
If there is any information you can share I'd greatly appreciate it.
