We are exploring different options to get new credit card processing company. We are looking at PayPal as an option, have any of y'all tried it? What companies are y'all using?

Most offices I am familiar with goes with their bank or their PM vendors. If you are using a PM system, you may want to get additional information from your vendor, or if you prefer, you can also check with your bank on their options.
 
Square Reader

Our office went from using our bank to using Square. They have an app you put on your phone, ipad, etc and the square reader connects to the headphone port in your device. It is very easy too use. They charge a flat rate of 2.75% (regardless of what card is used, including AMEX). There are no equipment fees, no additional bank fees, and no bulky terminals with paper rolls. Receipts can be texted or emailed to patients. It works great for the family practice I work for.
