Wiki Credentialing hang-up

I have a patient in Observation. They were seen by two providers. However, since the providers are not board certified in their specialties, the insurance company has them both credentialed as pediatricians. They are both seeing the patient in Observation one as the attending, the other in consult. The insurance will not pay the second claim stating it's for the same provider group (etc).

Is there any way that I can get this reimbursed?

Would be a longshot, but your provider rep might be able to help. Other than that, I think you are stuck.
