Does anyone have any suggestions for billing the application of Promethazine gel 40mg to a patient? We are a peds office and do this often. I have never billed for it because I cannot find a specific code for the gel. Would this just be considered as part of the office visit or is there an unspecified HCPCS code that could be used? Thanks in advance!
